ZigZag Summer Camps 2020

Our year-round Agile Learning Community is offering mixed-age summer camps at our new beautiful 3-acre property in south West Asheville. Ages 3-13. We practice self-directed education, empathy-based communication, consent, liberation, and power-with instead of power-over. Our space has a creek, a tree house, aerial gym, studio space, maker & art space, music room, and library.

 

Facilitators focus on different themes each week (see below). Additional activities co-created with kids enrolled, and will include things like field games, connection and empowerment games, yoga, fort building, story telling, process art, song, experiments, field trips to explore nature, ..etc.

Our summer camps weeks run M-F 9am to 3pm. Cost is on a sliding scale, $195 to $265 per week. We can also prorate for partial week attendance if requested. Here are the weeks and themes:
